- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects. They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. There is an upper age limit of 25 years for general candidates, with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals. Preference is given to candidates who are domiciled in Uttar Pradesh.
