Conducted by The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, is conducted under the umbrella of the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, in coordination with AFMC Pune itself.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for AFMC Entrance Exam

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.
    • Must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
    • Must have appeared in the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) as AFMC admission is based on NEET scores.
  • Age Limit:
    • Candidate's age should be between 17 and 25 years as of December 31 of the admission year.
  • Nationality: Must be Indian citizens (including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan). OCI cardholders are also eligible under certain conditions.

Exam Pattern of AFMC Admission via NEET

The AFMC Pune admission is based on the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen and Paper Based Test)
  • Number of Questions: 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
