Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (12th standard) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks, and must have completed or pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field along with a B.Ed degree.
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit prescribed by the official notification for the Kerala TET.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens. Residence in Kerala is generally preferred but not mandatory.
