Wildlife Institute of India (WII), also known as WII Dehradun, is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. Established in 1982, WII is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand (formerly Uttaranchal). It focuses primarily on wildlife research, education, and training.
