Overview

Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MREC), Allahabad, also known as Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad) since 2002, is a Central Government autonomous technical institute established in 1961 located in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh, India. It functions as one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), recognized by the UGC and approved by AICTE. The institute holds an A++ NAAC accreditation with cycle year 2022.
