Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), Srinivasnagar, Karnataka, India, currently known as National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, is a premier Central Government (Institute of National Importance) engineering institution established in 1960. It is located in Srinivasnagar, Mangalore city, Karnataka, with a single main campus. KREC was upgraded and renamed to NITK Surathkal, now operating under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
