CUET (PG) 2026 Registration Deadline Extended, Official NTA Update: Submit Your Application by January 20, 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an urgent public notice on January 14, 2026, regarding the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2026. Following numerous representations from candidates across the country, the NTA has decided to extend the last date for the submission of online application forms to ensure every aspiring student can complete their registration.

🛠️ CUET PG 2026 Correction Window

Candidates who have already submitted their forms but wish to edit certain details can use the Correction Window available from January 23rd to January 25th. This is the final opportunity to rectify errors in the application form online through the official portal.

How to Apply for CUET PG 2026?

Visit the official NTA CUET PG website: exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/.
Click on the CUET (PG) 2026 Registration link on the homepage.
Register using your basic details and generate a login ID/Password.
Fill out the application form, upload documents, and choose your exam city preferences.
Pay the examination fee online via Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI.
Download and save the Confirmation Page for future reference.

Official Schedule for all 85 Subjects | Exam Dates: 31 Dec 2025 - 07 Jan 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the detailed Subject-wise Examination Schedule for the UGC NET December 2025 cycle. Candidates can now check their specific exam date and shift below. Notably, the exam for 31st December 2025 will be held in the Morning Shift only, and there will be no examination on 1st January 2026 due to the New Year holiday.

💡 Important Notes for Candidates:

Admit Card Release: Admit cards are typically issued 3 to 4 days before the exam date. For a Jan 2nd exam, expect it by Dec 29th or 30th.
Entry Rules: No candidate will be allowed entry into the examination hall after 08:30 AM (Shift 1) and 02:30 PM (Shift 2).
Correction Facility: The correction window is now closed. Candidates must carry an original Photo ID and the printed Admit Card to the center.

NTA Public Notice: Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 – Advance Intimation of Examination City

The National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous organization under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued a Public Notice regarding the upcoming **Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December- 2025**.

This examination serves as the crucial test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor’, and ‘admission to Ph.D.’ in various subjects.

🗓️ Notice Details: Advance City Intimation Slip

This notice, dated **08 December 2025**, confirms that the NTA has hosted the Advance Intimation Slip for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 Examination.

The purpose of the Advance Intimation Slip is solely to inform candidates of the **allotment of their examination city**. This allows candidates to make necessary travel arrangements well in advance of the actual examination date.

Please Note: This document is NOT the Admit Card. The official Admit Card, containing details like the Examination Centre Name, Address, Date, and Shift, will be released later.
