- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. For JEE Advanced, candidates should be among the top candidates in JEE Main.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for JEE Main. For JEE Advanced, the candidate must be under 25 years of age as of October 1 of the exam year (with some relaxation for reserved categories).
- Nationality: Indian nationals, OCI, PIO, and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for JEE Main. For JEE Advanced, Indian nationals and OCI/PIO holders can apply if they meet criteria.
