Overview

National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela), also known as NITRkl or NIT RKL, is a Central Government-funded autonomous technical institute established in 1961. Located in the city of Rourkela, Odisha, India, it is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India. The campus is spread over approximately 648 acres. NIT Rourkela is approved by the AICTE and recognized by the UGC. It holds an NAAC Grade of A++ (2023).
