Admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for 2026-27

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026. This test is conducted for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities and prestigious institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the academic session 2026-27.

📝 Exam Scheme & Pattern

The NCET 2026 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in 13 languages including Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

  • ITEP Programme: A Dual Major programme (Education + opted discipline).
  • Syllabus: Based on Class 12 levels for Domain Subjects, along with Language, Teaching Aptitude, and a General Test.
How to Apply: Candidates can apply online only via the official NTA NCET portal: exams.nta.nic.in/ncet/. Ensure you provide your own mobile number and email ID for communication.
