The National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued a Public Notice on October 31, 2025, inviting online applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 - Session 1. For the Academic Session 2026-27, JEE (Main) will be conducted in two Sessions: Session 1 (January 2026) and Session 2 (April 2026).

🎯 Purpose of JEE (Main)

JEE (Main) comprises two papers:

Paper 1 (B.E. / B.Tech): Conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
