Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Age Limit: Minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. No upper age limit for JEE Main.
  • Nationality: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and foreign nationals are eligible to apply.

  • Exam Frequency: Conducted twice a year (usually in January and April)

Physics: Topics include Physics and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Modern Physics.

Chemistry: Physical Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, The s-Block Element, The p-Block Elements, The d- and f-Block Elements, The Coordination Compounds, Organic Chemistry – Some Basic Principles and Techniques, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Halogens, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Polymers, Chemistry in Everyday Life.

Mathematics: Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem and its Applications, Sequences and Series, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Coordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability, Trigonometry.
