Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (for Engineering stream) or Biology instead of Mathematics and Chemistry (for Agriculture/Medical stream).
  • Age Limit: For Engineering stream, minimum age is 16 years as of December 31 of the admission year. There is no upper age limit for Engineering. For Agriculture/Medical, candidates must be 17 years of age as of 31st December of the admission year.
  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and should satisfy domicile requirements as per Andhra Pradesh state regulations.

  • Number of Questions: 160 questions in total
  • Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark, no negative marking

    • Engineering Stream: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
    • Agriculture/Medical Stream: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology
  • Exam Duration: 3 hours
  • When it is Held: Usually conducted in May each year

  • Physics: Physical world and measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Oscillations and Waves
  • Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, The d- and f-Block Elements, The Environment, Hydrogen, The s-Block Element, The p-Block Element, Organic Chemistry, Basic Principles and Techniques, Hydrocarbon, Environmental Chemistry
  • Mathematics: Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem, Limits and Derivatives, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Coordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability

Agriculture/Medical Stream

  • Physics: Same as Engineering stream physics syllabus
  • Chemistry: Same as Engineering stream chemistry syllabus
  • Botany: Diversity of Living Organisms, Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Reproduction, Ecology and Environment
  • Zoology: Similar topics with emphasis on Animal Diversity, Human Physiology, Genetics and Evolution, Health and Disease, Ecology

Application Process

  1. Visit the official AP EAMCET website during application window.
  2. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
  3. Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature, and required documents as per specifications.
  5. Pay the application fee online through net banking, credit/debit card or offline through challan.
  6. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
