Conducted by The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) on a rotational basis among the participating National Law Universities in India.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for CLAT
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
- Minimum Percentage: General category candidates must have at least 45% marks, while candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories must have at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for CLAT.
- Nationality: Indian nationals, NRIs, and foreign nationals are eligible to apply.

- Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (Online)
- Number of Questions: Usually around 150 questions.
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer; no negative marking for incorrect answers (subject to change as per year)

Application Process

- Register by creating a new account using valid email and mobile number.
- Fill in the online application form with personal and academic details.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and other required documents as per specifications.
- Pay the application fee online through available modes (debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI).
- Submit the application and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
- Note: There is no offline application process.
