Eligibility: P.D.C. or its equivalent exam. with Phys., Chem., and Biol. as Optional Subjects.
Eligibility: a) B.A./B.Sc 45%. /M.Com. (50%) for B.Ed. in the subjects concerned. Relaxation of marks is allowed for B.A./B.Sc. if one has 45% in the same subject for PG. (Weightage for PG is offered in the following order 5% for I class 3% II and 2% III class). b) Even if one hasn’t 45% in part III of BA/BSc, but has 45% either in part I or II, can apply for the languages concerned. c) If the main for the degree is not offered for B.Ed. admission could be sought based on the marks of the subsidiaries provided one has 45% for that particular subsidiary and part III. d) Graduates in HI,GG,E, PO,PH can apply for social studies.
e) Ranking of candidates under ( b)and ( c ) will be made only after the candidates under (a).
f) Relaxation of marks 2% for candidates belonging to OBC. d) SC/ST candidates need only minimum pass (35%) for degree. g) Blind, dumb and deaf are not eligible.
Admission: Based on merit as above. Weightage will be given as follows. i) 0.1 marks for every month of approved service in approved School/College subject to a maximum of 5 marks. ii) M.A/ M.Sc. First class 10 marks, II class 5 marks, III class 2 marks iii) Sports: Representation at University/State/Country 1% of the obtained marks. iv) Local candidates belonging to Municipal and Corporation areas will be awarded 10% marks and those belonging to other areas 15% marks. v) 5 marks to NCC/NSS certificate holders. vi) Dependants of Ex-Service men as per Govt. rules. vii) Add. seats for Govt./Aided school teachers.
