The admissions to M.Sc chemistry first semester in the university dept of Chemistry are to be finalized through entrance examination, for the academic year 2012-13 which is based on the syllabus of B.Sc I/II/III year
University authorities has resolved to conduct Entrance Examination for admission to M.Sc. Chemistry First semester in the Department of Chemistry in the University Campus only.
The Entrance Examination will be of 100 marks, of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
The qualifying percentage for entrance examination is 45% for general
category & 40% for all reserved category including physical
challenged.
The average of 50% performance of entrance examination and 50%
performance of B.Sc. I, II and III year chemistry marks including theory
and practical will be taken into account for preparing merit list of
registered candidates after the declaration of B.Sc. results.
Other rules and regulations are as per university rules
Existing syllabus of B.Sc. I,II and III year Chemistry of this University, Equal weightage will be given to Inorganic. Organic and Physical Chemistry courses along with few questions from Analytical Chemistry.
