Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Admission Procedure
1. All
eligible and desirous candidates are required to fill the Application
Request Form (ARF) which will be available on the college website, http://www.rknec.edu/ from Thursday, 23rd June 2011.
2. Candidates
who want to submit their Application Request Form (ARF) by post are
advised to make a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (non refundable) in favour
of ‘Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College’, payable at Nagpur,
from a Nationalized Bank before filling the online Application Request
Form. Candidates should fill the ARF, submit and take two printouts. One
copy should be kept for the candidates record/reference and the other
has to be sent either by speed post or courier, along with the original
Demand Draft and attested photo copies of required documents to the
following address:
“ADMISSION REQUEST FORM (ARF) FOR Ist Year MBA 2011-12”

All duly filled ARFs should reach the Office of Dean Admissions on or before 5.00 PM, Thursday 4th July 2011.
3. Local
Candidates can submit their ARF directly at the college. They can pay
cash of Rs. 1000/- (non refundable) at the college cash counter and
collect cash receipt. They also have to fill an online ARF and take two
print-outs. One copy has to be kept for the candidates record/reference
and the other has to be submitted along with the original cash receipt
and attested photo copies of required documents. An acknowledgment of
submission has to be taken on the candidate’s copy of ARF for future
reference.
4. Incomplete
forms in any respect will be rejected and will not be considered for
preparation of Provisional College Merit List (PCML).
5. After
last date all eligible forms will be scrutinised and Provisional
College Merit List (PCML) will be prepared and displayed on College
Notice Board as well as on College Website on 6th July 2011. Students
are required to check their merit in PCML. Regarding any discrepancies
such as: not appearing of name / correction in marks has to be brought
to the notice of Admission Office by filling grivance form before 4:00
pm, 7th July 2011.
6. After
rectifying the valid and upheld objections, if any, Final College Merit
List (FCML) will be displayed on College Notice Board as well on
College Website on 8th July 2011.
7. All
candidates are required to attend personally the Institute Level /
Management Quota Counseling and Spot Admission Round as per FCML to be
held on 9th July 2011, 11:00 am onwards along with Demand Draft of
Required Interim Fees, all original documents, Three Passport Size
recent coloured Photographs and Three set of attested photocopies of all
documents.
8. All
admissions will be done strictly on inter-se merit of FCML at the
scheduled time and date. If any candidate fails to attend the counseling
on the specified date and time his claim will be lost.
9. After getting Provisional Admission Slip candidate has to complete the other admission formalities in the admission section.
10. Candidates
are advised to keep themselves abreast with the latest information on
admissions by visiting the college website and follow the schedule of
admissions strictly.

candidates are required to appear for entrance test conducted by
respective departments and also appear for Personal Interview scheduled
on 15th June 2011. On the basis of scores gained by candidates
respectively in entrance test and personal interview a merit list will
be prepared and displayed on 17th June 2011.
8. Admission of Non-GATE candidates is scheduled on Wednesday 17th June 2011.
9. After getting Provisional Admission Slip candidate has to complete the other admission formalities in the admission section.
10. Candidates

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Passed
with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* ( 45% in case of candidates of
backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any
Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any
discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities
OR
Appeared
for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of
minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the
Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered
for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with
minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of
backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Master of Computer Application (MCA)
Passed
with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of
backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any
Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any
discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities and
having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2
level or higher level examination.
OR
Appeared
for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of
minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the
Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered
for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with

should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII)
examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics AND Secured minimum 50% marks i.e. not less
than 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than
135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class
categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics added together AND Obtained a non zero score
in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET
2011 OR Candidate should have a valid AIEEE Score (i.e. total score
should be positive) for the year 2011-12.
