APPLICATION FORMS Separate
application form should be used for B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc., B.Tech.
(Food Processing Technology) and B.Tech.(Poultry Production Technology)
degree courses.
Request letter for application forms should
contain the name of the candidate and the course for which the
application (B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. - Food Processing
Technology / B.Tech. - Poultry Production Technology) is required.
Application
form can be had in person or by post from any one of the following
colleges on a written request along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 600/-
(Rupees Six hundred only) (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates) for each
course towards the cost of application form including registration, drawn in favour of "The Finance Officer, TANUVAS, Chennai- 600 051" payable at Chennai.

Candidates
who desire to have the application by post should send the written
request to any one of the above colleges along with the demand draft and
a self addressed stamped (Rs.40/-) envelope (Slze:37,5 x 28 cm)

avail the concession on the cost of application forms, SC/ST candidates
should write the name of the community in their written request

Demand draft dated prior to 02-05-2011 will not be accepted. Cash/Cheques/Money Orders/Postal Orders will not be accepted.
Application forms will be issued on all working days from 02-05-2011 to 06-06-2011 as follows:
02-05-2011 to 05-06-2011 between 10.00 a.m. and 5.45 p.m. 06-06-2011 between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m
Application
forms will be sent only by ordinary post and the University will not
be responsible for non-receipt or any postal delay in receipt of
application forms.
Filled in applications should reach The
Chairman, Admission Committee (UG), TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony,
Chennai 600 051 on or before 07.06.2011, 5.45 p.m.
Applications
received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected and the
University will not be responsible for any postal delay.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION Qualifying Examination and Minimum Marks Candidates
who are applying for B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc./ B.Tech. (Food
Processing Technology)/ B.Tech. (Poultry Production Technology) degree
courses should have passed HSC (l0+2) / CBSE / other examinations
recognized as equivalent thereto with the marks as prescribed.

Age Limit Candidates should not have completed the age indicated below as on 01.07.2011. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST) : No age limit Others : 21 Years No relaxation of age limit is permissible on any grounds.
MODE OF SELECTION Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the HSC/equivalent examination as per the Government Orders.
