on payment of Rs 500 in cash. One can also obtain the application form
through post by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with a
DD of Rs 550 drawn in favor of the Registrar, Vels University payable at
Chennai. The duly filled application form along with a DD of Rs 300
(entrance exam fee) drawn in favor of the Registrar, Vels University
payable at Chennai should be submitted to the Registrar, Vels

Vels University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, has invited applications for VEE exam, to be held in the ensuing session 2011. VEE is a common entrance exam conducted by the university on the date mentioned below for admission into the following Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes, to be offered in the upcoming session 2011.
Engineering: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
BPharmacy / PharmD: As per PCI norms should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology / Botany and Zoology in 10+2 or its equivalent.
MPharmacy / PharmD (Post Baccalaureate): A pass in BPharmacy degree
MBA: A pass in any Bachelor Degree with an overall minimum of 50% of marks (10+2+3 pattern)
MCA: A pass in any Bachelor Degree with Maths at degree level (or) at +2 level (10+2+3 pattern)
